Make an Ivy Topiary with Catherine  6pm
Start the night off at 6pm with "Happy Brownie Hour" and let your taste buds have a sweet treat as you get to sample some of Catherine's famous Happy Brownies!


Join Catherine at 6:30pm then, as she shows us how to make an adorable ivy topiary. She will provide all of the supplies and will touch on how to take care of our topiary when we get it home.




What a great way to beat the winter blahs!

Start at The Summer Kitchen for tea, sandwiches and treats as you sit and get pampered this Valentine's Day. Drive over to Beeker's in Pemberville to finish your tea party for more special treatment. The Summer Kitchen Girl

Book Club, February 24th 6pm
Join "the girls" as we review our favorite books throughout the year. We will take one book a month and focus on three or four (or more) of our favorite decorating ideas from the author. You will have a chance that night to then replicate one of the ideas in a display of your own in the store!
This class is complimentary, but we do have limited space, so please RSVP your spot!

Come clean...ahh...we mean get clean!  Put that house together and make it smell out of this world with your own herbal cleaner that you will make!  We will be making two cleaners, one with tea tree oil, which is a natural antifungal,  and a glass cleaner.  Class is $15.00 per person.

Stamp-a-pack of cards with Sherri

We had so much fun last month making our Stamp-a-snowman picture,

that we decided to continue the fun this month!

Please Join us for our Garden Party Progressive Tea

Start your Garden party at Beekers's General Store in Pemberville. There you will meet Barb Nelson, master gardener. Barb will be discussing herbs and answering your garden questions while you are enjoying your tea and treats outside (weather permitting). Before you leave, you will be making an herbed sachet to take home.

Head east to Helena and The Summer Kitchen for your second stop. Be the guest of the Summer Kitchen Girls, as owners, Karla & Karrie share their secrets on creating a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy during the summer months. While you are having tea and scones, listen to some special music being played.

Your last stop will take you to Bowling Green at Calico, Sage & Thyme. Join Barb Rothrock, owner of Calico Sage & Thyme, as she creates herbed culinary delights. Go home with ideas on how to use herbs in your everyday cooking.

If you would like to be a part of this Garden Progressive Tea, you can purchase tickets for $10 each of the stores involved. There is limited tickets being sold, so please purchase your tickets ASAP!

Join us Thursday, May 13th at 6:30pm for our Herb of the Year class & learn all about Dill with Catherine! Take the night off to learn about the 2010 Herb of the Year. Catherine will teach us everything we need to know about dill, from growing, harvesting and the many ways to use this herb. She will be demonstrating her fresh pickling technique with onions, cucumbers & more. And, yes....we will be tasting some of her delicious dill bread as well (we knew you'd ask!!)

Time to learn all about Rosemary! Everyone is familiar with this herb...but what can you do with it?? Lots! First we will concentrate on Cleaning with Rosemary. You will be making a wood cleaner and air freshener - all from Rosemary - but wait! We will learn how to make an easy Rosemary infused apple butter, as well as some delicious Rosemary infused Dark chocolate truffles! The Class is $15. Please RSVP
